Do you think this site can eventually be able to come close to where Facebook is- http://frendsdom.com

Honestly In my opinion I don't think that not just this site but it is very hard for the other well reputed site too. because its very hard to occupy the reputation as today facebook gets from the people around the world.

Personally, I wouldn't think so. From looking on the site, it seems like its purpose is to connect you to people around the globe. Basically, you're suppose to just interact with people who you aren't able to connect now. Seems kind of sketchy. Especially since you technically don't know who is behind the computer anyways. Sounds like a weird, unnecessary risk to take just to befriend someone who might live in a different continent that I do. More importantly, I don't see anything new being offered than what presently exists on other social networking sites (i.e. Facebook, Twitter), which is my reason why I am not sold on it.

I'm skeptical that it will ever reach the status Facebook has right now. For one thing, the name is just not as catchy, and everyone is already too set on Facebook that it would be very difficult to take customers away from them. I do think that sites like these tend to be able to find a niche area for themselves eventually though. People are always looking out for new sites and new things so as long as the site provides a good and unique enough service then it's bound to get some fans.

I don't think so either. Facebook will eventually fall but right now no other site has been good enough to take it down. It has to be a great site to bring in these teens. They are some social media masters.

I think it's going to be hard for a new site to take the reigns from an older site. The biggest problem will be that people don't want to be the first people on a site. I remember back when I had an account on MySpace, the only reason that I left MS and went to Facebook, was because all of my friends did. I wasn't going to stay on a site where I couldn't keep in contact with my friends. So unless there is a mass movement, I don't think it'll happen.
