Does Providing Answers to Yahoo! Answers Generate Traffic?

Does anyone know if "your answer has been chosen as the best answer" in Yahoo! Answers really help in generating traffic?

 

That's an excellent question and I'm curious about other members experience from this.

 

Funny this post popped up. No it does not, if you try it your post and account will be suspended. A good buddy of mine tried it as a test run for his swimming pool site. He did ok for about 4 posts in and once they saw his web name in a post. Yahoo sent him a message stating his account and post were deleted. He was allowed to appeal this, but he didn't due to it was a test he was running to see if this worked.
