Guide: How To Improve Your Serp Rank?

For those who need a little clarification, the Search Engine Results Page is generally the page you are taken to when you "query" a search engine and it displays a number of results.

Although Google keyword tools will tell you the most searched keywords, the fact remains that Google's algorithms no longer look directly at keywords anymore.

Too many people were either using keywords that had nothing to do with their subject or embedding (stuffing) keywords into their website code, and using black hat techniques in order to hide those "stuffed" keywords from the end user.

You should take a look at optimising your title tags, description tags, website content and other tags, (such as alt tags and meta tags) as by optimising these, you are increasing your chance of an improved rank on on a Search Engine Result Page for your keywords.
