I really like the idea that I can promote my product or service online where millions and millions of people go each and every day. That to me is a very powerful concept. With that kind of daily opportunity almost anyone nowadays can become a millionaire. I know that their are lots of scams out there and I encourage people to always be careful of how they spend their money so as not to be scammed. However, do not allow the many scams to scare you away from making real money online. It can be done and their are people doing so everyday. Never give up searching for that one thing that really works with online marketing and eventually you will find the fun and success that Internet marketing can offer.

I agree with you. What's great about Internet marketing, besides being more fun and relaxed and less of a pressure is that it's more cost-efficient. I'm not saying you have to do away with traditional marketing. It's still relevant and important, depending on the nature of your business. However, if you're a start-up firm with little budget at your disposal, Internet marketing can help your business grow two-folds.

The key to internet marketing -- is that there is no set program. Essentially -- there is no key. Each person basically has to go through a period of trial and error where they really seek out the methods and strategies that work for their particular needs.

It's really a great thing now that due to technology, marketing is now a lot easier and more fun. Now you can do every marketing that you need to do while you're staying at home, just as long as you have a computer. It's also more easy on the budget. I think that's the best part.

I agree. It's really a good thing that anybody now can market to people and it's not anymore as tasking or difficult as it was before when your options would have been limited, such as having to pay for an ad on the paper or something similar, which I assume would have costed so much and you wouldn't even have been able to track the impressions and customer behavior as you could now do online. Also, you could be as creative as you can be as there are almost unlimited ways on how you could get some attention for your product or service, not to mention you could do it all with just several clicks instead of having to travel to multiple offices in the span of a couple of days.

Agreed. If you do things right you can get your message to your audience without having to invest a lot of money. Of course you can speed things up too by buying targeted traffic but even without spending money if you manage to start a viral campaing people will be sharing your content for free. That's amazing because mouth to mouth word is the best kind of promotion you can get.

But just as NicoleDesrosiers said, there's no turn key to Internet Marketing, you have to go through that Trial and Error process to know what works and what doesn't.

Internet can be fun and a great way to make some extra income, but at the same time it takes a lot of research and hard work. Just like any other business, you have to stick with it and never give up until one day you start to see your business grow. God Bless! www.scriptures.cc/201727

Perhaps in a nutshell you can say that Internet marketing has many avenues through which you can unleash your creativity and resourcefulness. There's no one-size-fits-all strategy. Everything's basically a work in progress.

Totally agree with you. I'm 29 years old, so it's crazy to think how different our world is than my parents'. If my parents wanted to start a business before the internet, it would take a lot of capital and hard now. Now I can literally do it from my desk at home in my PJs. I'm not saying it will be a successful business, but the potential is certainly there, which is great for us and also for society as a whole. It's giving average people a chance to share their skills with the world which allows certain people to really shine and create something that can benefit all of humanity. It's a great time we are living in, and I feel like IM will become a more viable option for people in the future. I feel like we are still a bit ahead of the curve, even though IM is already pretty huge. I still feel like the average people doesn't fully realize the potential the internet has, but with things like Uber, Lyft, etc.. I'm noticing that people are realizing there are other ways to make a living rather than the typical 9-5 that we were all raised to believe was the way to go. Even education is changing. It's so easy for me to learn skills online instead of paying to go to an expensive college and learn it in 4 years.

The internet is a very powerful tool for marketing, with so many different ways to market like videos and blogs.
