Link building on the same IP Address?

I've been link building using a number of different methods during many years now, but one question that I haven't thought about before is the one if search engines, such as Google, recognize links that were created from the same IP address? If so, could this hurt my results and even end up in me getting some sort of penalty? Any answers or thoughts are welcome!

 

Really? I did not know. I am using search engine tool to optimize on Google,seems no problems.

 

I think that this is not any thing to worry about. I am also building link with the same IP address. I never faced any problems.
