Actually Google caches a website content within 24 to 72 hours and if you have duplicate or scrap or spun article then it is difficult to cache it.

I doubt it takes 2-3 days. I have updated metas' of one of my site and it's been a week since the last Google cache.

The Google cache command will help you find the cached copy – the way the Web page looked when Google’s spiders indexed it - of any Web page.

Google caches a website in every 2 to 3 days. The purpose of caching is to provide the website's latest update to the search engine.

Google cache a website to check the latest updates, if found then it will be updated to SERPs. Google cache every website within 2-3 days.
