    Broken links lead to nowhere, so they cannot be helpful in any way. Broken links can only hurt your SEO, so make sure to repair them, or remove them - use disavow tool or contact webmasters from those sites from where those links come from and ask them to remove them.

    I never heard that broken links are beneficial of helpful for SEO.
