Hello Even though this is my first day here I have noticed that you do not have many pages indexed in google according to "majestic seo" and for a website made in 1999 a PR 1 is not fantastic. If these 2 things were improved I am sure you would get 1000's of new users.
Thank you for your feedback, Well, to be honest, we launched this website on December 21st, 2011 (3 weeks ago). The domain name was registered back in 1999, but not by us, and from what we know, the domain name have not been heavily used during the last few years. So, we are fully aware of what you are saying, and of course all help from you (and other members) that can help our community to grow, is more than welcome.
I actually love this forum. Its clean and not to cluttered. The only thing I would consider is the amount of spam posting coming through from people not actually contributing. Keeping on top of this would be a massive job but a very necessary one as people will get annoyed with the amount of irrelevant postings being made. Maybe eforum could consider something like signatures and links disabled until you reach a certain amount of likes or trophies. Might force those newbies to actually get involved rather than posting crap. Either way good work to the eforum team so far.
I actually like that Idea Dan, And yes it is a massive job. I delete about 20 posts or more a day and move many others to their proper section. Its next to impossible to catch it all but we try hard to keep the board clean for those who really want to participate. I would encourage everyone to use the report feature if they see posts that are obviously spam or have inappropriate content. Thanks again,
this is what i have been doing since i joined "reporting"but you can never avoid such spams,Just deleteing them is the only solution!! Furthur sometimes i laugh at a profile with a beautiful girls image and that may be a ugly male behind, they pose themselves as females in order to get attraction to their posts!!Funny thing!!
I have seen many cases of Spam, but the Administrators are working hard to clean it up as it comes in. - Whenever I am on-line, I contribute to the forum, but also actively do my best to report and destroy those who are "making the place look untidy". There are several things that "can be" done about forum Spam, but these days the methods tend to make things worse. For example: Solution: A minimum post count before being able to post links and have a signature link. New Problem: The spammers will just create useless posts and more "junk" in order to get the "rights" to post links.
