How do I get more traffic to my site?

promoting a blog needs time and efforts dear.ITs not easy as because you need con tent that public read.Do write what they want .what they love to read and enjoy and your work will be over.Little seo then would be more beneficial
 
We recently did a site for a NZ artist. The Lady is a marketing dynamo and has done a great job in promoting her work. you might take a look, I'm sure she wouldn't mind you borrowing some of her ideas. Reina Cottier Art. Look at all the different places shes got linked from her site.

I hope this gives you some ideas.
 
More sites like that would include addme.com and submitstart.com

These are sites that do search engine submissions for free. I guess what I thought was odd is why you would want multiple ones because if you go around and submit to the same search engines multiple times it may have the opposite effect of what you want and you will get blocked instead of listed.

Listing every 3-6 weeks is ok but more than that and you will fall out of favor with the search engine providers.
 
I beg your pardon everyone...From when do search engine submission helps bring visitors to website?????...Searchengine submission is just to invite bots to your website...the placement depends entirely on Seo work..if your website has duplicate contents..i think you will never get traffic even if you post to PR9 forum....All depends on your quality of website...!!!!!

I agree,
quality of content is important in search engine rankings
listing in directories that pertain to your business
Adwords or similar PPC programs are good for traffic
posting in forums
Most Important and always the best form of advertising is satisfied customers. Word of mouth is still #1!
