How Do You Make Money Online?

With all people having their own specialty, which of course leads to a broad and diverse forum, I would be interested in starting a discussion about different ways to make money online? Also, what methods have you tried and failed with?

Looking forward to your replies!

I am doing the reselling(online) business to make money. I am earning more than $250USD/month by doing the reselling business. I got the reseller account from GoResellers.com and start earning by selling domain names, hosting plans, SSL certificates etc. This is one of the safe and secure online business. You can do this business from your home itself. You don't need to spend more time for this business. Just bring the customer for your reselling business. They are providing very good customer service and support.

I'm have to check out GoResellers. I'm not that familiar with the site. But it does sound interesting if you legitimately earn $250 a month doing it. How much time does it require? How often does the site pay? Inquiring minds want to know.

I make a couple of dollars online by doing some freelance content writing to a few websites. The pay is quite low, though, but at least, I've got some back up to pay for my liabilities. It's still better than nothing.

Where did you do freelance work, maryannballeras? I've heard of a couple of sites that pay about $5 per article but nothing more. That seems to be quite low and not worth all the effort that goes into putting together a good piece.

This isn't completely online, but I'm currently working on a maid business. The end goal is that I just act like a middle man. I hire maids, and then put up a nice site with a nice company name and give my maids some regular work. Never done anything like this before, but it seems like a business that will be in demand for a while. The only thing I could see that would change it is when we can have robots do cleaning for us. Also, I'm sure there are companies looking to create an app like Uber but for maids (actually I think one exists called Handy). It wouldn't be hard for people to directly hire maids using the app which means cheaper rates for customers and higher payment for maids if you cut the middle man.

Even with this in mind, I think a maid business is still worth a shot. There are a lot of people who would still prefer the reliability of an actual business with a website, so that is what I am banking on.

Other than that, I don't have much going on. I've always looked down on the whole 'taking surveys' for money thing just because it feels like I could be making so much more, but since I'm not making anything right now, I think I might just dedicate an hour or so a day to doing that. Maybe make an extra $10 a day. Sure it's nothing, but it can add up, and once you are in the thousands, you can invest that money and make it work for you.

I work on multiple sites in my free time doing offers and surveys, posting on forums, writing articles, and other various things. I am looking to build a real online business in the near future, though.

I use several different methods of making money online. They include blogging, microtasking and surveys. I occasionally write reviews too. I try and keep several options open to me at any one time - after all, the problem with making money online is that any of your preferred channels can disappear at any given moment. Therefore, I think it is better to build up several small income streams rather than relying on just one source of income.

Creating your own business and blogging are great ways to make money online. I know these things take work and effort to gain a fan base. If you can stick with it, then you will build your income.

I'm earning money mainly from my website when I use PPC. I'm also doing some microworks. For now I'm looking something new and fresh which will catch my eye and make me happy, because for now my income is a little low. I've tried a lot of methods but it's hard to find something really good. I mean, I don't think I want to earn thousands. I want just start with new business even for $1/day. ;)

I've been making money steadily online for 7 years now, from various activities. I've had some success with affiliate marketing, blogging and revenue sharing sites. For the past year I've been earning a more regular income by helping others to make money from their affiliate marketing and blogging. I get paid for the content I write blogs, forums, websites, article directories, ebooks and more. I don't mind that I'm not highly paid because I enjoy the work and it provides me with enough money to pay my monthly bills and household expenses.

Surveys online was a total failure. Too much time for too little money, tons a spam and phone solicitations. It took weeks to get all the spam opted out and never received any payment.

I had started that way at first online. Survey's are a total failure and they do not get any better. I often get screened out of them. That is why I just back off of survey's.

I actually made a ton of cash once with Binary Options, just once, within a one month time frame, Luck I guess. I made 5000$ with a 200$ investment. With a lot of hard work and dedication, I was able to do so. This was almost 3 years ago. The reason why I do not do it anymore is because the stress that you give yourself is too great.

For me, it's a mix of surveys, content creation, microtasks, Gumtree and Amazon sales and referral sign ups/clicks. It's taken me many years to build my income up to it's current level and there's certainly no such thing as a "get rich quick" scheme.

I started with blogging and writing essays online. Then i add forum posting, now i am learning this method of making money - partnership with brands.

I have tried and failed with many things. My biggest fails were Slice the Pie and Qmee, both of which I thought I could make a good amount of money on before realizing that Qmee won't ever pay you more than a dollar a month and Slice the Pie caps out for me at around $2 per hour. I suggest trying freelance writing. It seems like a hell of a lot of fun, and can make actual money, maybe enough to make a living off of it!

I'm a blogger, a professional writer and also a music producer. I do sell merchs online for my music team and also put out some records from my artists.

I mainly make money through writing both for my own sites and other sites or blogs. I also self-publish my own ebooks which gives me a modest but steady income. I am also planning to get more involved with SEO and IM. I was also thinking about making starter websites. That is, I would put together a little website with original articles written by me and then sell it for a fair price.

Ebay is a great way to make money. You buy low and sell higher on Ebay. This is a great way to have a steady amount of money coming in. I love Ebay. I also do forum posting and that adds up too.
