- Always use your keyword/keyword phrase in your titles.
- Use keywords/keyword phrases at the beginning of your post in a sentence, wrapped in the H1 tag. (I will tell you how to do this later)
- Use keywords/keyword phrases in sub heading titles wrapped in H2 tag. (ie: “Simple On Page SEO Check List“)
- Use H3 and H4 tags (where appropriate) for smaller headings and titles.
- Always use your main keyword/keyword phrase in the first sentence of you posts/pages. (If you are using an SEO plugin add your keywords within the first 240 characters)
- Make sure to use your keywords/keyword phrases in the last section of blog/website posts and pages. (Summarise your post)
- Always add a relevant image or images in your posts/pages.
- Use your keyword/keyword phrases as an ALT tag for your images.
