    A bad link does not. A bad link is simply one that violates Google's guidelines. Consequently, it can lead to Google penalties. Link farms, paid links, link wheels and other black hat link-building techniques can get you into trouble.

    Bad links are link that violate the google guidelines. It comes from a not-so trusted website. Last penguin algorithm change in 2012, Google has been cracking down on bad links.
