One of the best and easier ways to learn Affiliate marketing is to learn from someone else who knows what they are doing and actually have the earnings proof to show for it. There is one guy that I have been following for several months. His name is John Chow. You can find him at -- JohnChow dot com. If you want to learn Affiliate marketing and learn it well, contact him. He offers very good training and he also has the earnings proof to show. He as been in the business for several years and he is now a millionaire from blogging and affiliate marketing that he does. Check it out at JohnChow dot com.

Mentors can definitely be valuable especially for the most clueless. The best thing to do in this case is to do a lot of research on who you are going to be following, especially if it requires any type of payment or purchase. Some are genuine, but of course there are some who are bound to be just in it to get your money.

I live John Chow a lot. On his ebooks he gives a lot of advice on how to make money online. The only thing I dislike about him is the fact that he always tries to convice you that if you don't sign up for My Top Tier Business (MTTB) and then for My Online Business Empire (MOBE) you are not going to make any money. And those are classic pyramid schemes where the only guy making money is the big guy on top. And of course that is John Chow.

Go ahead and read his ebooks. Just don't mind the shinny object that MTTB and MOBE are.

I am in total agreement with "j." He has a nice amount of "freebies" available for Affiliate Marketers.

The best guy I know of as far as providing a truckload of free information is Danny Iny at Firepole Marketing. He has free ebooks like The Naked Marketing Manifesto which I have printed and refer to them often. Of course, he has the dangling carrot of products you have to pay for. However, you get plenty of superior resources for free ... and he is not a high pressure salesman, plus, very funny!

I'm glad that you've found your way through the complex world of Affiliate Marketing. I don't know why but to this day, I'm still having trouble grasping the whole AM structure. I was a member at several AM sites and after a few weeks of participation, I ran out of steam. How can I possibly renew my interest in AM?

If you ran out of steam after a few weeks, you probably should find another area of interest in the Home Business world. The days are gone where you can run around posting you products everywhere and make good money. I was trying to master it for years and it really is the few that really nail it that manage to make most of the money. I would even venture to say that when a lot of marketers made money on Google prior to their changing rules, many of those are still riding off very old reputations to drag the new marketers through the door.

The big thing I learned is that I am a writer that people find interesting, So, I really gear myself towards Freelance Writing at this point with a small side-line of Affiliate Marketing. If you are not spending much money on it. keep dabbling and look for an area that really interests you and go for that.

Once I get my money together, I want to take affiliate marketing to the next level. My problem after a few days wasn't that I was running out of steam, but I didn't have the money to invest in it just yet. I feel like I can follow the advice but there's only so much available for free. As far as it being a pyramid scheme, I guess I'll have to take a chance.

Fantastic, you have now clarified that this is an area you really want to pursue ... so go for it!
As money is an issue, starting small is great anyway - just don't spend the bank on money you do not have ... some companies will help to get you into debt in order to buy their product - if you are just working with what you have for now, that is perfect ...

Yes, Blogger and Amazon are more than enough right now. I'm currently learning SEO and how to build links around the web. Thanks for the encouraging words.

The key to affiliate programs is to realize that they are a grinding game of fishing for a good catch. You get 100 clicks on a link and 30 of them are real prospects, of the 30 only 10 are in a position to act on your offer and only 3 actually do make it worth your time. Of course, these numbers are used solely for arguments sake, but you get the point. If it were easy success wouldn't be a big deal.
