Sadly, the time has come that Google will no longer be updating the Google PageRank Toolbar, and we must now say Goodbye. The last update was back in December 2013.

Google's John Mueller said in a video Google+ hangout yesterday that Google will probably not be updating Google Toolbar pagerank in the future.

"We will probably not going to be updating it [PageRank] going forward, at least in the Toolbar PageRank" were the words that John Mueller used in the Google+ hangout.

I know that a lot of people will be disappointed by this news, but it would seem that Google felt there was no longer a need for this feature.

    Regards,

Apart from selling websites and links, I have not really had any use for it. Most buyers are now starting to look at other metrics when buying.

I do other activities that rely on pagerank and I have to figure out another way to evaluate the metrics. This is good news for fake pagerank link sellers though as they can bang in a buck selling the external toolbar pagerank and unfortunately many buyers will fall for it:eek:
